In order to bring the educational community a solution for the official training of students in Big Data technologies, Cloudera designs and presents its Cloudera Academic Program (CAP) initiative, providing curricular materials, technological solutions, exercises and other benefits to train your students in the technologies of the present and the future.
In the initial part of this talk, after an introduction about the benefits of the CAP and the way in which educational institutions can subscribe, we will discuss how to implement in the classroom the courses and technical solutions proposed by Cloudera for the training of students in Big Data and Apache Hadoop: virtual machines, slides, exercises, laboratories, etc.
