ICT training is a challenge that pushes the educational sector to keep their training offer updated. The main purpose of PUE DAY next 22 April in Madrid is to support educational institutions in this challenge, by bringing most state-of-the-art and prestigious academic initiatives from major multinational corporations and organisations in the ICT sector closer to them.

PUE DAY will provide the framework for presenting educational projects by Oracle, Cisco, Microsoft, Linux Professional Institute, VMware, Zentyal and CompTIA, with the participation and presence of the senior management of the education departments of these multinational corporations represented at the event.

The event will enable to describe the procedures and requirements that educational centres must meet to qualify as official training and certification partners in those technological initiatives of interest to them.

PUE organises and leads this initiative as part of its contribution, support and counselling to educational centres and institutions who are willing to increase the added value of their training offer in the technological specialities most demanded in the world of work.

What’s new in this edition of PUE DAY:

  • Practical workshops in different technologies: IPV6 Packet Tracer with Cisco, Java SE8 with Oracle, Virtualisation in the Cloud with VMware. Further information: Agenda.
  • Making available to attendants the possibility to obtain during the event the official certifications of interest to them via the PUE Mobile Certification service.

A special guest at the event is Mr Francisco José Martínez, President at Fundación Certiuni, the University Certification Platform. In his speech he will report on the achievements of the Certiuni initiative as regards the objective of bringing the benefits of qualifications closer to the academia.

The closing of the event will be honoured by the presence of Ms María de los Reyes Zatarain del Valle, Director-General of the State Employment Public Service (SEPE) of the Spanish Ministry of Employment and Social Security, who will explain the current state of play of training for employment.
