PUE the first organization as Cloudera Gold Partner in Big Data

In a relaxed and festive atmosphere, on June 21, took place the After Work Cloudera Gold Partner Celebration. Staff members, clients and managers of Cloudera came together to celebrate the recognition of excellence in Big Data consulting, which has led the organization to be named First woeldwide Global Partner of Cloudera.

Lucía Ferrer, Sr. Sales Director at PUE gave an emotional welcome. With the slogan “We are GOLD” she thanked the attendees for being part of this quality award; to the clients for their trust that feeds back and increases the PUE experience; to Cloudera for the support that allows to offer the best solutions to the companies and, of course, to the technical team that with their expertise and dedication make it possible.

Later, Sergio Rodríguez de Guzmán, CTO at PUE, highlighted the importance of a specialized, certified and constantly innovating team:

Excellence for consulting in Cloudera Big Data

Christian Violi, Channel Sales Director, Med Region at Cloudera, explained that it is the first recognition worldwide, gathering what Cloudera expects from their partners: high technical qualification, ability to integrate Big Data solutions to the business models and confidence that customers receive a complete service in consulting and support. Mr. Violi added, that PUE won because the company owns the Cloudera’s core values of a partner, emphasizing the commitment, quality and dedication. In his speech, C. Violi shared, that Cloudera as technology worldwide leaders, will continue investing in the development of IA and Machine Learning, solutions that will lead together with PUE to the IT market.

For the closing of the event, Jorge Capilla, Managing director at PODO, spoke of the challenges he faced, at their beginnings three years ago, in a very traditional and regulated sector such as energy: “Our goal was to offer the highest energy efficiency through the energy consumption data analysis, with 100% online management “. The Managing Director of PODO shared how PUE successfully carried out the development, application and analysis with technologies such as Cloudera Big Data, being the only technological partner with which Podo currently works.
